I'ma just answer here cause 1. I have to work too damn early, and 2. I kind of already did this meme; I just like answering questions and 3. I really, REALLY suck at asking questions.

1. Favorite Conor Oberst song OF ALL TIME?
This is really hard for me to answer, as I love so very many, and so very many are pertinent, but my first inclination is to go with "Going for the Gold". There is just something about that song that I cannot escape, and while the lyrics don't hold as much significance to me as some of his other songs, there is some thing there that makes all the sense in the world to me. ♥ forever. Seriously. I'm going to go and listen to it now =)

2. What is your favorite quote?
This is also really hard for me, because I tend to vacillate between the serious business shit and the trivial as it suits me. I think the most consistnt, though, is anything from "Rosencrantz & Guildnstern are Dead", especially the bit about being alive in a box or no life at all. Brilliant, Tom Stoppard is! BRILLIANT!

3. What food do you think describes you best?
You know how, when, elementary age kids are mucking about in the kitchen and come up with something completely weird that it doesn't fit and yet makes so much sense? That's me. An amorphus solid! Hellz yeah! =P

4. Who was your favorite musical artist growing up?
Oh, God, who wasn't? All my favourites up until 1997 lasted about two years. I loved Garth Brooks as a wee thing, moved on to R&B and rap 2nd - 4th grade; Boyz II Men and Bon Jovi after that, then there was BUSH, OMG. and HANSON. Hanson, actually, probably had the most influence on me of any of them. I met some of my best friends via Hanson, and I do think that, in a way, they shaped who I am, moreso than any of the other groups I loved growing up.

5. Would you have done the same thing for Kreacher had you been in Regulus' shoes?
I really don't think I would have, no. I'm wayyyyy too concerned with living to have died so young, which, I think, is why I love Regulus so much.

At the age of which Regulus died, I think I would have done, actually, but as I've got older, I realise how much there is left of life to experience, and it would be the hardest thing for me to volunteer to leave it all behind.

I'm definitely the sort to not allow people to suffer in my place, so, if I were in Regulus's place, I would have elected to drink the potion rather than making Kreacher go through it again, but I also think that, given the information Regulus likely had, I would have come up with a plan that allowed both Kreacher and I to escape safely, or I at least would have attempted such. I don't think I could just happily accept death. I thought I had got to that point once - that death wasn't so bad - but when it was staring me in the face ten minutes later, I realised I could never be so complacent about it.
